Our Day...

Hello...
So, although today wasn't full of too much adventure we did still have fun! We woke up, enjoyed our morning, then ate pizza for lunch, put the kids down for their nap (Prezlie slept in her crib again YAY!) Then we went to Office Max to get a program for my new business (more to come on that later)
Then we ventured over to Target to look at some office chairs for our computer desk. MY GOSH they are so expensive it is ridiculous! So we ended up not getting one, Justin said he can get one from work they aren't using. We went to Buffalo's for lunch, it was pretty good. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich, I should've stuck with what I usually get, but if you know me you know I love my buffalo sauce and I just couldn't resist the tempting tang today! LOL. Justin had the tex mex burger and said it was pretty good!
After that we came home and looked for some new phones on e-bay. I got the pink mini kao8 (mini iphone) Justin got the palm treo...also pretty neat! But I have to say, nothing is better than a pink phone! LOL.
Father's day is tomorrow and I am so excited! I am truly blessed to have such an amazing Dad! He is just awesome, I don't know what all to say, he is such a great Man of God and loving caring person who I am more than proud to call my Dad. Also I am so thrilled that I am married to another AMAZING father. Justin is such a great Dad and it just makes me that much more blessed to have him in my life! Oh well we do have some good news! Ryder is starting potty training and he went potty two times in the "big boy potty" we are so proud! He got "big boy" underwear and only had 1 accident today! WAY TO GO BUBBA!
Well, that's it for us tonight! Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there!

Lunch With Papaw

Today was a fun day! I went to Chili's with my Dad (Papaw to Ryder and Prez) I just can't get enough of their boneless buffalo wings! MMM MMM GOOD! My Dad bless his heart, has been eating salads, salads and salads! He is really watching what he eats now especially due to his recent find of his kidney disease! (pray for him on that by the way) But he has been doing so good and I am so proud of him! I actually felt pretty bad grubbin' down on some wings while he was eating leaves! But he says he doesn't mind it.

Ryder sure does enjoy being with his Papaw and it makes me happy to see them together! It brings out a different softer side of my Dad that is so neat to see. It just makes your heart happy to see your baby interacting and loving their grandparents! Prezlie pretty much slept the whole meal but she did wake up toward the end but she kept pretty quiet. I was hoping she would start her "talking" for my Dad but she didn't...Kids, they never "perform" when you want them to! LOL

On another note. I am amazed at how fast Nala is catching on to her "training". Shepherds are such smart dogs and yes I know this but still, it's amazing to watch! Hmmm lets see, other than the lunch with Dad, I didn't do much else today... Like I said before, not a lot of excitement in the life of a stay at home Mom. But one thing I do have to say is there is nothing more rewarding, and nothing that gives you the joy like your kids do. I am truly blessed!

And with that, I say Good Night!

Let's see how this goes...

Okay, so this would officially be my first blog! I'll start by saying, no I don't use the best of grammar or have enticing words to use all the time, but if you are interested in hearing or reading about whats going on with our family, then you should be pleased!
So, just an re-cap of us... Ryder is almost 2! His birthday is July 14Th! Little Prezlie is already growing so fast, she is almost 3 months old! I can't believe it, it seems like just yesterday I thought I would be pregnant with her forever! LOL We adopted into our family a German shepherd puppy "Nala" she is 1 week younger than Prez. Justin picked her name, he wanted the name of "the girl lion from Lion King". I think it's cute!
Justin has been working in Lubbock during the week and coming home during the weekend, which thankfully for me and the kids his week ends on Thursday! He also recently got the Foreman's position! I am so proud of him!
I am still enjoying every part of being a stay at home Mom! I couldn't be more blessed! I love being able to be with my kids and watch them grow and learn. Ryder is just so smart! He always keeps me laughing and smiling. His newest "thing" is saying "stuck" or "not stuck". If anything dosn't move how he wants it to the first second he tries, he says "Mommy it stuck". Then when he "frees" whatever it was he says "Mommy not stuck" So cute! He just learns so much so fast it makes me proud to have such a smart little boy, but it also is bittersweet because he is growing up so fast!
Well, I guess that about wraps it up for post number 1! Keep checking back for more to come!
